"Cyberpunk 2077" Livestream will show off 15 minutes of game-play

During a livestream next week, CD Projekt Red will share a 15-minute edit of Gamescom's Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. The stream will also include developer interviews that will dive deeper into Night City's Pacifica district and the various ways you can approach your adventures in the gritty cyber world of the future.

The studio also announced that it will be streaming from Warsaw instead of changing its plan to pick up gameplay at PAX West next week.

Hey everyone!

We’re in Cologne, Germany, and gamescom is in full swing — we’ve already met with so many wonderful community members! For those of you at home — wherever home is — well, we’re not forgetting about you either.
Next week we’re going to host a stream during which we’ll unveil a 15-minute edit of what we’ve been showing to journalists and gamers here at gamescom, and then interview devs from the studio for additional information on what you just saw. Expect a lot of insight into the thought process behind creative decisions, information about Pacifica—one of the districts of Night City—and TONS of stuff on playstyles you’ll be able to adopt when you launch Cyberpunk 2077 next year.

This stream will be accessible to everyone to watch, so you can all feel a lot of gamescom— or any other trade show — at home wherever you are. Hosting the whole thing is going to be our own Hollie Bennett, our UK comms head, and the dev line up includes some familiar faces you know and like.

There's another announcement we've got for you: we originally scheduled to display gameplay at PAX West, but there's been a plan shift, and we're going to stream from Warsaw. The PAX cosplay competition is still on; this time around we're just not going to have the dev panel on-site. There are plenty of logistical (and creative) reasons behind this choice, but the most significant thing we want to say is that we're sorry for the plan change. We know that many of you have been waiting in Seattle to meet us face to face, and we're bothered that we won't be able to see each other there.
